Trilingual album (French, Inuktitut, English) illustrated with photographs by Bob Mesher of Labrador

Labrador—or Nunatsiavut to the Inuit—is one of the last mysterious and virtually inaccessible lands in the North—at least, as Danielle Schaub writes in her introduction, that's how it was portrayed by European and American explorers over the centuries. In this book, the first photo album published by a Nunavik Inuit, Bob Mesher offers an "inside" view of this fascinating territory where he was born, following his family's journey from northern Quebec to Paradise River. Since returning to Kuujjuaq, a university graduate and editor of Makivik Magazine, Bob Mesher has committed himself to documenting northern Quebec and Labrador with hundreds of thousands of photographs. The reader will discover his exceptional perspective, through the choices of photographer Danielle Schaub and the often surprising captions of Bob Mesher.

With an introduction by Danielle Schaub.
